ETHICAL PRACTICES
Meeka products are Australian made, created using 100% natural & certified organic ingredients which have been carefully harvested & prepared to ensure sustainable practice. Using Certified Organic Ingredients assures our products have been produced in a manner that is ecologically sustainable & harmonious. We are cruelty free as we condemn the exploitation of animals. We don’t test on animals, or purchase any ingredients that are tested on animals. We don’t export to countries where animal testing is still practiced. Wherever possible, our products are free from palm oil, wheat and gluten. We have a supplier guarantee that any products containing palm oil because of processing methods are from certified sustainable palm oil plantations.

Our range has been carefully & thoughtfully designed around the benefits of aromatherapy & how the perfect blend of essential oils, extracts & herbs effect our overall health & wellbeing. Our extracts are replicated as they’ve existed in nature for billions of years. Plants are potent receptacles & storehouses brimming with an abundance of vitamins, antioxidants, minerals & bioactive constituents. Innovative cellular extraction methods harness nature’s evolved strategies to create potent & multifunctional phytoactives. Cellular extraction maintains the integrity & delicate balance between the cell environment & the liquid medium into which they are dispersed encapsulating the bioactive compounds without degrading or disrupting the plant biomatrix. Our ingredients are selected based on their functionality, effectiveness & safety as we believe in potency as opposed to label claims.
Natural compounds are bioavailable & work with our own cellular matrix to be easily and readily utilised to deliver results. Plants & living organisms have evolved efficient & synergistic relationships between multiple compounds to sustain survival & reproduction. A botanical extract in its purest form should replicate the true blueprint of a plant. The phytoactive compounds & derivatives that are found in the flower, fruit, leaf or wood are bioidentical & presented in a unique delivery system that is stable, potent & multifunctional.

PET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, a plastic resin and a form of polyester. Polyethylene terephthalate is a polymer that is formed by combining two monomers: modified ethylene glycol and purified terephthalic acid.
PET is a popular package for food and non-food products. Manufacturers use PET plastic to package products because of its strength, thermo-stability and transparency. Customers choose PET because it is inexpensive, lightweight, resealable, shatter-resistant and recyclable.
Know the Facts
PET plastic (also known as PETE and designated by a recyclable “1”) does not contain BPA. PET is globally recognised as a safe, recyclable packaging material. Numerous tests have created a broad scientific consensus that PET is non-toxic and is a safe material. Facts on PET supports the efforts of regulators to ensure that plastics are safe for the public through scientific testing and analysis.
Sustainability
PET is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly packaging option. A recent Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) conducted by the Allied Development Corporation determined how the environmental footprint and greenhouse gas emissions of manufacturing and transporting PET relates to alternative forms of packaging. The first study found that in North America, PET is the most favourable alternative when compared to aluminium and glass bottles. When measuring greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, PET containers had the best performance.
